i  was finished with my psych advising appointment and headed over to the communication building. i walk in to get some information to declare my minor and i hear a lady’s voice. there was a student walking out of the office that the voice was coming from, and i asked him if that was Olson, and he said that it was.

and i said can i say hi to her? and he said, she’s kind of busy moving stuff right now. i started to explain to him that she’s like a celebrity to me. she’s my online professor and i’ve only seen her through a computer screen.

he goes on to help me and i continue to explain to him that this is kind of surreal to me. and i was just excited. he said he had an experience similar to mine. and THEN

she eventually came out (SUPER EXCITED).

i said Hi! you don’t know me, but i’m danielle- i’m in one of your online classes. she says i do recognize you though because you’re one of the ones on top it. it was good to hear, but not why i’m excited about this situation-

i got to meet my online professor. of course i could make an appointment with her, but there will probably never be reason to- VERY, VERY NEAT.

Nice to meet you Professor Olson.
